Google sometimes needs to send messages to you about your account. If you created your Google Account with a phone number, and didn’t add an email, you’ll find these official communications directly from Google in the Message Center.
Learn about the Google Account Message Center
If your account was created with only a phone number, your account will have a username with the format [email protected] associated with it. This will be the username shown when you log into your Google Account.
If you don’t have a verified email address associated with your Google Account, you will receive messages in the Message Center of your Google Account. This is not an email service. The Message Center serves as your primary channel for official communications from Google about your Google Account.
The Google Account Message Center is a secure, dedicated inbox within your Google Account that delivers official communications directly from Google when you don’t have an email associated with your Google Account.
If you later add an email address to your Google Account, future official communications will be sent to that email. However, any existing messages will remain accessible in your Message Center.
Types of messages you'll receive
The Message Center is where you'll find essential information about your Google Account. Messages generally fall into these categories:
- Important Account Updates: This includes critical information like updates to the Terms of Service (TOS), account alerts, and transactional receipts related to Google services.
- General Messages: Other regular, important account-related information.
Tip: You can’t unsubscribe from these messages. Google must be able to send important messages about your account.
How you're notified of new messages
Google notifies you of new messages in your Message Center through the following methods:
- Text messages: You'll receive a text message (SMS or RCS) notification on your primary phone number when a new message appears. These notifications are for important account updates and official communications from Google and cannot be unsubscribed from.
- In-app badges: A badge will appear on your Google Account profile picture across various Google platforms and apps . Tapping your profile picture will dismiss the badge, but the alert will be active until you visit the Message Center.
How to access your Message Center
- Go to mya.cloudwebceplogn.xyz. You may be asked to sign in.
- From the menu, select Message Center
.
- Review any new messages.
View and manage your messages
Once you're in the Message Center, you can take several actions.
Messages appear in chronological order, with the newest ones on top. Click or tap on any message to open it and any attachments associated with a message. This may open a version of the message in your browser and start a download of the PDF preview.
You can also choose to delete messages in your Message Center "Inbox." Depending on your region, relevant account-related updates will be kept in the "Records" tab for an extended period to meet legal and business requirements.
Important: You can’t respond directly to messages from the Message Center. If you need to respond, you can do so with an alternate email address. If necessary, save the message as a PDF and attach it in your response.
